Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) - the company to be formed following the merger between Dr Pepper Snapple Group and Keurig Green Mountain - has announced its new leadership team for the company. 

In January 2018, Dr Pepper Snapple Group snapped up the speciality coffee company for US$18.7bn, in what was one of the largest deals in the beverage sector in recent years.

“Our new leadership team represents the very best talent across both great companies,” said Bob Gamgort, future chief executive officer of Keurig Dr Pepper.

“Our combined selling and distribution capabilities, along with our portfolio of hot and cold beverages, will enable us to reach consumers anytime and anywhere they shop for a beverage.”

The team are set to start their new positions at the close of the merger transaction, which is expected to be on 9 July 2018. 

Fernando Cortes has been appointed as the company’s new Chief Supply Chain Officer.

Joining Dr Pepper Snapple in 2003, Cortes most recently served as the firm’s Executive Vice President of Supply Chain.

Ozan Dokmecioglu who joined Keurig Green Mountain as its Chief Financial Officer in 2016 is set to retain this position at Keurig Dr Pepper.

Responsible for customer management across all channels and brands, eCommerce, partner and private label relationships and all commercial support functions, Derek Hopkins has been appointed as Chief Commercial Officer. 

Meanwhile, Andrew Springate is to be appointed as the company’s Chief Marketing Officer and Meg Neman is to be the newly appointed Chief Human Resources Officer. 

Responsible for franchise bottler relationships and all International businesses, Jim Trebilcock has been appointed as Chief Franchise and International Officer.

Meanwhile, David Thomas will become Chief Research & Development Officer. 

Joining Keurig in March 2018 as Senior Vice President of Investor Relations, Maria Sceppaguercio has been appointed as Chief Corporate Affairs Officer. 

Rich Jones has been appointed as Keurig Dr Pepper’s Chief Integration and Supply Chain Transformation Officer whilst Andrew Loucks will become President of Keurig Appliances. 

Finally, Rodger Collins has been appointed as President of Direct Store Delivery, responsible for all company-owned DSD operations, and Lain Hancock is set to become Chief Strategy and Emerging Brands Officer.
