Last week we reported that Mark Wahlberg, Donnie Wahlberg, and their culinary-minded brother Paul Wahlberg had finally secured the rights to the greatest and most appropriate name for a Wahlberg-owned high-end burger restaurant ever: Wahlburgers. Though the name alone brought endless joy to our pop culture-loving hearts, our one lament was that we don’t know when we’ll have the chance to make it to Boston to enjoy a Wahlburgers burger in the flesh. But the world understands our plight and could be giving us the next best thing – a Wahlburgers reality show.
E! Online reports that, as of yesterday, Mark Wahlberg has started working the idea of filming a reality series about he and his brothers’ restaurant into casual conversations. Not that he wants to actually be in front of the camera this time around. Which is fair – HuffPo notes that the guy already not only just wrapped a Seth McFarlane movie, but is gearing up to produce (and maybe even star in) one new movie-in-progress and has signed on for at least three more. Marky Mark is a busy guy. But with production and creation credits on major series like “Entourage” and “Boardwalk Empire,” we’re not worried about his skills behind the scenes.

"Maybe I'll be the Charlie's Angels of reality TV," Wahlberg reportedly said while in attendance at the Taco Bell Foundation for Teens’ Graduate to Go Studio launch at the L.A. Harbor Boys & Girls Club. "You'll hear my voice. But obviously it's something that we'd want to control in every aspect and produce and make sure that we were doing something really quality."
We can’t wait!
