The 8th Annual San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival is on its way – along with it, an impressive line-up of celebrity chef presenters is beginning to shape up. A bevy of local celebrity chefs will be in attendance, including the likes of Sam Zien (that’s Sam the Cooking Guy to you and me), Jeff Rossman (Executive Chef – Terra), and Deborah Scott (Executive Chef – Indigo Grill, Kemo Sabe, and Island Prime) and national household names. Quite a few former contestants on Bravo’s Top Chef have also signed on including Eli Kirshtein, Dave Martin, Andrea Curto-Randazzo, Kenny Gilbert, and San Diego’s own Searsucker Executive Chef Brian Malarkey.
Most recently, Gale Gand has joined the fold. Food Network fans may recognize Chef Gand as the host of Sweet Dreams. The James Beard Award winner currently puts her talents to use as Executive Pastry Chef and partner at Chicago based 4-star/5-diamond restaurant Tru.

Gale Gand’s main event at the San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival will be on Friday November 18, where Gand will host the cooking demonstration class Brunch & Beyond at the Macy’s School of Cooking in Mission Valley (just away from the main event at San Diego’s Embarcadero). “Join Chef Gale Gand on a journey, turning traditional breakfast dishes into impressive culinary creations,” reads a related press release. During the presentation Gand will lead a class in whipping up dishes like frittatas and stratas and crepes (oh my!), as well as some of her signature baked delights like Ginger Scones with Peaches and Cream, Glazed Crullers, and Pear Streusel Coffee Cake.
Seating is limited for this event, so get on it here.
